Southington High's football team bands together at the beginning of the season opener against visiting Hall High of West Hartford Wednesday night.
A perennial powerhouse, the Blue Knights are entering the 2010 season with high hopes and goals with a lot of returning starters on both sides of the ball. Coming off an exciting 2009 season, in which they had the honor of being invited to play at Rentschler Field again (and left with a victory), the Knights are anxious to step on the field, led by their new head coach, DJ Hernandez, and face another tough schedule which includes some new challenges and old rivals!

Attend Gridiron meetings first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in room C-13 at SHS. During the season the meetings are held weekly.
